I have had an accident, what do I do now?

Contact your insurance company to report the accident. Once they have issued you a claim number, just stop by to see us and we can process the claim on your insurer’s behalf.

Are you accepted by all major insurance companies?

Yes. CSN-Reliable Auto Body Ltd can contact your insurance company and arrange for an appraiser to inspect your car. We can also arrange for car rental pick-ups and drop-off.

I have both private insurance and ICBC insurance. To whom do I report my accident?

If you have private insurance as well as ICBC coverage, you must contact your private insurance company to report your claim.

Do I have to take my car into ICBC for them to see the damage to the vehicle?

No. More often than not ICBC will allow us to do your estimate right at our facility without having to take your vehicle into them. There are only two types of claims that they will not allow us to handle on site:

Hit and Run Claims

  • A "Hit and Run" claim means that the person left the scene of the accident without leaving you their insurance information. In this case, ICBC will want to set up an appointment to view your vehicle’s damage.

Injury Claims

  • For any accidents involving personal injury, ICBC would likely want to view your vehicle.

The person that hit my car wants to just pay for the damage without involving the insurance companies.

This is fine as long as that person understands that the estimate we provide is just that – an estimate. Prices are subject to change once the repairs are completed. For example, hidden damage, parts pricing, etc., could crop up later on. You should also know that if you do report it to your insurance company, the very last step that the insurance company does is to offer the guilty party an opportunity to pay for the damages without processing a claim against their insurance.

Do I get a courtesy car while my car is being repaired?

If you have "Loss of Use" coverage through your insurance company, we can set you up with a courtesy car at our facility.

Can you match my paint colour exactly?

Using the OEM colour matching system, we pride ourselves on our ability to match factory finishes. CSN-Reliable Auto Body Ltd uses only the highest of quality water based paints from SIKKEN, and we adhere to their processes at every step of the way.

Do I need an appointment for an estimate?

Yes, in order for CSN-Reliable to give you our undivided attention and the best customer service possible we will book you in for a short assessment appointment before scheduling your vehicle in for repair. Please call or come by to book your assessment appointment.

Why can’t I get an estimate over the phone?

Vehicle damage varies and there may be more there than meets the eye. Bringing your vehicle in allows us to give you the best possible collision repair estimate.

How long will it take to repair my vehicle?

Our technicians strive to provide you with a realistic timeline to complete your repairs. Factors such as the extent of damage, availability of parts, and insurance approval enter into the calculations.

Are your collision repairs under warranty?

Our collision repairs come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. Please ask us for details regarding the terms and conditions of the guarantee.
